Watch the debate on the big screen, test your election knowledge with some trivia, have a pint and talk with your neighbors about what’s important to you as we get ready to vote in November. The fun begins at 8:30, the debate goes live at 9:00 p.m.
Join us to celebrate immigration in western New England at a series of events around the region this fall around the launch of the Words In Transit book, created to accompany NEPR's Words in Transit oral history project. Each presentation will include an opportunity to hear personal stories from contributors to this book, along with members of the Words in Transit production team, and in some cases, to view photographs and hear audio clips of the collected stories. All events are free and open to the public.

Join NEPR and The Academy of Music for The Best of Valley Voices Story Slam! The second season of the Valley Voices Story Slam culminates in one final night of competition! Following sold out Story Slams held at the Northampton Brewery and Gateway City Arts between January and April, a dozen audience-selected finalists will move to the Academy’s stage to compete for top storytelling honors. The theme for the Best of Valley Voices first-person narratives is “You Don't Want to Know.”
