I spent this past Saturday afternoon at the Beneski Museum of Natural History, on the campus of Amherst College. It was a very pleasant time. I had never taken the time to explore, or even consider, any of the museums that dot the Pioneer Valley before, but after this experience, I will certainly do so in the future. There are a bevy of fascinating, unique items from history at this museum – the product of long years of work from Amherst College students and faculty.
Here are my impressions, and some photos for good measure.
