Henry Street Salamanders

Originally Aired 4/23/01. In Amherst, the bustling traffic on Henry Street poses a lethal obstacle to spotted salamanders and wood frogs. These slow moving amphibians’ attempts to cross the street to reach their springtime breeding ponds is often met with demise. Laurie investigates Local hero Bob Winston and his solution to the problem.
