Event Description

The UMass Department of Music and Dance presents the UMass Amherst Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Morihiko Nakahara. The program will include Berlioz's Hungarian March, Stravinsky's Firebird Suite (1919), and the winners of the UMass Concerto Competition: Brandon Nowakowski, alto saxophone (music of Ibert), Jessica Toupin, soprano (music of Granados), and Emily Kaplan, flute (music of Martin).
