Wally Swist is the current poet-in-residence at Fort Juniper, the Robert Francis house in the Cushman section of Amherst. Swist will give a reading of his nature poetry this Sunday afternoon. He will be accompanied by Celtic harpist Sarah McKee. Wally Swist will be reading a thirty-six poem cycle, mostly regarding the flora and fauna of the pioneer valley, entitled Poems for Spring and Rebirth.
