Greenfield “old timer” reminisces about his life in the Valley.

Joe Parzych was born in 1929, the year the stock market crashed and the collapsing economy sent ripple effects all the way to rural western Massachusetts. Parzych speaks about his life at the Greenfield, Massachusetts’ historical society on February 20. WFCR’s Bob Paquette met up with Parzych recently and has this report on Parzych’s memoir, entitled Jep’s Place: Hope, Faith, and Other Disasters. Parzych also keeps a blog at http://jepsplace.booklocker.com/.
