Romney Ends his Campaign for President

In the wake of disappointing Super Tuesday returns, Mitt Romney has decided to suspend his presidential campaign. Jeanne Kangas, vice-chairman of the Massachusetts Republican Party, says Romney’s decision is rooted in the practicality that defined his candidacy. Romney won the Massachusetts primary, showing that he’s still popular among republicans in the state he governed from 2002 to 2006. however, with his departure from the field, Kangas says Baystate republicans would probably throw their support behind John Mccain, who now appears poised to win his party’s nomination.
