Charges against the South Hadley, Massachusetts, students indicted in connection with the suicide death of Phoebe Prince are based, in part, on the legal concept of criminal harassment. and Massachusetts attorney Harvey Silverglate says that makes perfect sense. But prince was also allegedly harassed on line through text messages and Facebook. And Silverglate, who specializes in civil liberties, says the bad news is the case could become fodder for vague and ineffective cyber-bullying laws.
