Every year, domestic violence among couples accounts for about half a million injuries in women, and a hundred thousand injuries in men, yet there’s much to learn about what turns someone into a perpetrator. Harvard university researcher Andrea Roberts wanted to find out more about the role of childhood adversity — primarily physical and sexual abuse.
