Will Big Internet and Cable Companies Control the Net?

Since the uprising in Egypt began, many Americans have turned to broadcasts by the Qatar based television network Aljazeera. But most American viewers have found Aljazeera only online. According to Joshua Silver, president of the Northampton Massachusetts-based advocacy group, Freepress, that illustrates a rising danger that big internet/cable companies will limit access to programming that does not match their business models. Silver spoke with WFCR’s Fred Bever.
