Jury Has Reached A Verdict In Apple, Samsung Patent Case

A jury has reached a verdict in the Apple-Samsung patent case, The Wall Street Journal, The San Jose Mercury News and other news outlets are reporting.

This is a complicated and technical case that has been heralded as “the patent trial of the century.”

As we told you:

“Based on money alone, it might as well be: Apple and Samsung are accusing each other of infringement. Samsung wants higher royalties on some technology and Apple is seeking $2.5 billion in damages.

“A jury will decide which, if any, company is right.”

Apple claims that Samsung copied its iPhone and iPad. After three days of deliberation, the jury came back with a verdict much faster than most were expecting.
