This week, in the days after the George Zimmerman vedict, many black parents talked about their own teenage children, and how they fear their kids could become the next Trayvon Martin. They talk about perceptions vs reality. Springfield resident Darryl Moss is among them. An aide to Mayor Domenic Sarno, he’s also a community activist doing street work with teens in and out of gangs. Moss says he’s been worrying about how the world sees his son, since the day he was born.
