On Veterans Day, a Moment with World War II POWs from New England

It’s Veteran’s Day. Politicians, families and America’s veterans themselves are gathering at cemeteries, monuments and memorial parks. To mark this day we will hear from a group of World War II veterans whose experiences led to fear, abuse, shame and redemption. These are prisoners of war.

We hear the stories of Private First Class Robert Noble, Staff Sergeant John Katsaros and Platoon Sergeant Clarence Cormier. They’re among a group of former POWs from New England who get together every year in Boston.
