As FDA Ponders E-Cigs, Massachusetts Towns Ignore Their Own Rules

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is considering e-cigarette regulations, while states debate their own rules.

In Massachusetts,  a dozen communities in Hampshire and Franklin counties actually banned e-cigarette use in the workplace years ago.

Rebecca Everett is a reporter for the Daily Hampshire Gazette. She told New England Public Radio’s Susan Kaplan that many employees at bars and restaurants in those communities had no idea about the e-cigarette bans.
