In-Depth: Cara Rintala Re-trial Begins

The re-trial began today of Cara Rintala, a Granby, Massachusetts woman accused of killing her wife in 2010. The murder case is the first of its kind between a married same-sex couple in the state. The case is being re-tried after a first trial ended in a hung jury last march. The new trial has the same lawyers, the same judge, and much of the same evidence.

Bob Dunn is reporting on the trial for the Daily Hampshire Gazette. We spoke about what Rintala’s accused of, and how this time around things might be different.
