Bob Paquette Remembered on June 3rd's Morning Edition Extra

[Tuesday, May 31, 2011] AMHERST, MA. The New England Public Radio newsroom will remember longtime reporter and local host of "Morning Edition," Bob Paquette, during "Morning Edition Extra", this Friday, June 3 between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. on 88.5FM WFCR and AM640 & 91.7FM all-news WNNZ.

As Senior Producer and Host, Bob was one of the most familiar voices to WFCR's listeners, widely recognized for the excellence and professionalism of his hosting and reporting. He was an award-winning reporter who joined WFCR initially as newscaster for "All Things Considered," taking on "Morning Edition" a few years later. For so many people for so many years, he was the voice of WFCR every morning.

Friday's edition of "Morning Edition Extra" - a new offering which Bob hosted and helped to create, will include remembrances from New England Public Radio staff and listeners. We'll hear some of Bob's recent work too.
