Amherst, MA The Boston Globe announced this week that it would close its three remaining foreign bureaus -- in Jerusalem, Berlin and Bogota -- in an effort to save jobs elsewhere. The globe has been scaling back on its foreign bureaus for some time. It closed its post in Baghdad in February. WFCR's Bob Paquette spoke with UMass journalism professor Norm Sims about the bureau closures. Sims says he doesn't expect the Globe's international coverage to diminish.
