DeMarsico Funeral Attracts Westboro Protestors

The funeral for Army private Michael DeMarsico from North Adams, Massachusetts is tomorrow. He died earlier this month on his first deployment to Afghanistan. New England Newspapers has confirmed that members of the Westboro Baptist Church will be at the funeral to protest. the church is considered by a number of monitoring groups to be extreme and is anti-homosexual. It has protested at thousands of funerals across the country. Reverend David Anderson, the pastor at the First Baptist Church of North Adams, where the funeral will take place told New England Public Radio's Helen Barrington he's concerned people could confuse the two churches.
