Financial Problems Bedevil Academy of Music

It's been several days since the Academy of Music in Northampton, Massachusetts announced that financial problems will force it to close, at least temporarily. Since then, Northampton mayor Clare Higgins says she's been inundated with calls from residents concerned about the Academy's future. Higgins told WFCR's Tina Antolini that the city owns the building, but the academy is its own entity.
