Holyoke City Council Rejects Raising Sewer Fees in Response to EPA Fine

Holyoke, Massachusetts' City Council has rejected a proposal to increase sewer fees by 139 percent. The unanimous vote came on the same day the city agreed to pay a $36,000 fine because overflows from its sewer system continue to spill into the Connecticut River.
