Chuck Collins is a community organizer who works at the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington DC.  He has a new book called 99 to 1--How Wealth Inequality is Wrecking the World and What We Can Do About It. The slim volume delves into previous times in U.S. history when income discrepancy was great--like the so called gilded age in the late 19th century and what is different about today's economic downturn. Collins -- a Hampshire College Alum -- explains he expects conservatives to respond to his conclusion that republican-supported  fiscal and social policies are to blame.
