Williamsburg, Massachusetts resident Linda Knox Gibbon went to Haiti recently. She traveled with 10 volunteers and 2 staffers from the Haitian Health Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Norwich, Connecticut. The foundation serves over 200,000 people in 100 rural villages in southern Haiti. Gibbon says she got interested in going to Haiti after hearing a member of the foundation speak at a meeting of the Zonta Club. The talk changed her winter travel plans.
