Date:
01/04/2005

Complaints about voting and the election system continue. Two months after Election Day, questions remain about the presidential vote in Ohio and elsewhere, and the gubernatorial vote in Washington state. A University of Massachusetts professor has joined with others around the country to propose an Election Manifesto suggesting modifications to the current system. Professor Emeritus Richard Stein told WFCR's Bob Paquette that voting standardization would provide reliability in the way ballots are counted. Information on the voting proposals is available at www.electionmanifesto.org.
