Kudzu

Kudzu is on the march. A new study co-authored by Amherst College visiting professor Bethany Bradley suggests that if present climate trends continue, invasive species, like kudzu - commonly found in the south - may creep north. Bradley says most of these hard to eradicate plants were introduced for a reason. For example, she says, kudzu arrived in the US in the 1800's to combat soil erosion.
