Eight days after his re-election, with the fiscal cliff looming, questions being raised about the deadly attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and a scandal having forced the director of the CIA to resign, President Obama is holding a news conference this afternoon at the White House.
It's his first full-scale Q&A with reporters at the White House since March.
We'll post updates during the news conference, which is supposed to get going at 1:30 p.m. ET. Also: NPR.org will be streaming the audio and many NPR stations will be broadcasting it. Click here to find a station near you.
