Among the scientists watching  NASA's Mars rover -- named "Curiosity" -- touch down, was Mount Holyoke College's Darby Dyar.  In addition to her work as a professor of astronomy, Dyar and a team of researchers helped develop a weapons' grade laser that will determine what the rocks on Mars are made of. Dyer says she and about 400 other scientists squeezed into a room at NASA so they could witness the "Curiosity's" landing.
