Rabbi Arrives in India 5 Days After Tsunami Hit

Months ago, Rabbi Justin David of Congregation B'nai Israel in Northampton, Massachusetts, planned a trip to India. He hoped to fulfill a longtime dream of personal spiritual exploration. As it happened, he arrived in southern India five days after the tsunami struck. He had a mini-disk recorder as he traveled to areas designated by an international organization as SOS villages, where long term care is provided for orphans and children in need.
