Reports: Authorities Trade Fire With California Fugitive

Keywords:

Authorities in the Big Bear area have traded fire with Christopher Dorner, the California fugitive who police accuse of killing two law enforcement officers, the AP and The Los Angeles Times reporting quoting a law enforcement official.

The Times reports:

"The shooting occurred after Dorner burglarized a home, tied up a couple and stole their car, the source said.

"It was not immediately clear whether Dorner was in custody."

CBS Los Angeles has live coverage of a gun fight the station reports is between authorities and Dorner.

Since Dorner shot the two officers last week, LAPD launched a massive, multi-state manhunt.
