Sen. Joseph Lieberman Speaks with WFCR

In a recent survey, Connecticut voters gave Joe Lieberman a 65 % approval rating. He is running for a 4th term in the U.S. Senate this year, despite his continued support for the war in Iraq. Almost two-thirds of Lieberman's fellow Democrats think invading Iraq was a mistake. Lieberman says American troops must remain in Iraq until that country is more secure. He spoke with WFCR's Av Harris this week, the day a bomb destroyed an historic Shi'ite mosque near Baghdad.
