Shakespearean Quilt Project

Quilt making might not sound like the sort of middle school curriculum needed to improve academic performance and raise test scores. But as WFCR's Susan Kaplan reports quilts are the centerpiece of an interdisciplinary project in one Amherst, Massachusetts school. It promises to teach kids about everything from Shakespeare to the Harlem Renaissance to Math....as well as the fine art of becoming a caring human being.
