SkyWarn Storm Spotters Vital for Weather Service Warnings

Last June 1st, the National Weather Service kept track of fast-moving tornadoes thanks to the efforts of a network of amateur - but trained - weather spotters. There are thousands of spotters who relay informatio to the service through the SkyWarn ham radio network. Susan Kaplan visited a recent training session in Canton, Connecticut.
