Gay Orthodox Rabbi Speaking at Smith and UMass

This weekend, Five College Hillel is presenting a series of talks by Steven Greenberg, the first openly gay Orthodox Rabbi. When he was 15 years old, Greenberg joined a community of Orthodox Jews in his native Ohio. He wrestled with guilt for years before coming out in 1999.

Rabbi Greenberg speaks Friday at 8:30 P.M. and Saturday at 1:30 P.M. at UMass Hillel, and Saturday night at 8:00 P.M. in Neilson Library at Smith College.
