Maple Syrup Producers Still Dealing With Ice Storm’s Aftermath

Daffodils and crocuses aren’t the only signs of spring in Western New England right now. Sap buckets hanging on maple trees are overflowing. Sugar shacks have two-hour waits for fresh pancakes and even fresher maple syrup. But, as WFCR’s Tina Antolini reports, a storm several months ago has made this season tough for some of the region’s syrup producers.
