The MassMutual contribution will to go Develop Springfield, a non-profit group charged with leading the rebuilding effort using both public and private resources. Nick Fyntrilakis is the group's co-chair and an assistant vice-president of community responsibility at MassMutual. He says the money will help begin implementing a master plan to revitalize areas damaged or destroyed by the tornados.
