Massachusetts Career Centers Flooded With the Newly Unemployed

Among the many organizations awaiting federal economic stimulus money are state-supported career centers that help people find jobs. There are 37 in Massachusetts, and, as unemployment has increased, they’ve been flooded with new clients. WFCR’s Tina Antolini visited one in Springfield called “FutureWorks.” They expect to serve 20-thousand people this year, more than in any other in the center’s 13-year history.
