Closing the Budget Gap in Connecticut

Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell opens the legislature’s 2005 session with her State of the State address today. The republican governor says Connecticut is facing a $1.3 billion deficit, about double the estimate from legislative democrats. WFCR’s Av Harris says leaders in both parties also disagree on how to close the budget gap.
