Twenty Years after the War, "Sarajevo Phoenix" Gives Voice to Survivors

On stage Thursday night at Smith College in Northampton is a new work of 'verbatim theater. "Sarajevo Phoenix"  is based on interviews with women who survived the 1990s siege of Sarajevo and the Balkans war.  Playwright and chair of the Smith Theater Department Ellen Kaplan spoke with NEPR's Jill Kaufman.
