UMass & USDA Collaborate on New Animal Vaccine Project

Researchers at the University of Massachusetts Amherst will lead a new global effort to develop vaccines and tests for animal diseases that threaten agriculture and the world's food supply. The U.S. Department of Agriculture launched the effort with UMass Tuesday by presenting a check for $2.1 million in federal funding.
