Whately's Water Woes

Turn on a faucet in Whately, Massachusetts and you'll get safe drinking water from the town's supply. But it wasn't always that way. In the mid 1980s, 70 of the town's 233 wells were contaminated by pesticides. WFCR's Amy Mayer spoke with Tom Litwin, a co-founder of Whately Land Preservation. Litwin says he wants to make sure people don't forget what happened.
