Join us to celebrate Says You!’s new place in New England Public Radio’s Saturday line up with a live taping of the show Amherst College!

Joining the cast will be special guest Ammon Shea, direct from Merriam Webster and author of “Reading the OED” and “Bad English: A History of Linguistic Aggravation.”  The Says You! word nerds have an insatiable desire to delve into the dictionary for hilarious comic relief. Take one word, add two teams, create three definitions and throw in a live audience – that’s Says You!   Come play along as host Gregg Porter challenges the cast and our listeners with the most interesting and difficult questions you’ll hear on the radio airwaves.

Game 1 begins at 1:30 pm followed by a brief intermission and Game 2 ends a little before 4:00 pm. Spend the afternoon laughing with friends and family as part of a national broadcast event!

What’s Says You! you ask?

…A public radio game of bluff and bluster, words and whimsy…that you can hear Saturday at noon on NEPR and again Sundays at 1:00 p.m. on the NEPR News Network! Take one word, add two teams, create three definitions and throw in a live audience. And, that’s Says You!
