Live Broadcasts from Tanglewood on New England Public Radio

This summer, New England Public Radio continues its tradition of  live concert broadcasts from Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The broadcasts will air Sunday afternoons from 2-5 p.m., from July 7 through August 25 on 88.5FM and throughout the Berkshires on: 101.1FM (Adams/North Adams), 98.7FM (Great Barrington), 98.3FM (Lee), 106.1FM (Pittsfield/Lenox), and 96.3FM (Williamstown).

“Covering the gamut from Vince Gill, to Beethoven’s 9th, featuring such iconic works as the “New World Symphony,” the “Pastoral Symphony” and the “Rite of Spring,” and spotlighting such stellar soloists as Yo-Yo Ma, Pinchas Zukerman, Garrick Ohlsson and Emanuel Ax, the programs will make for ideal summer afternoon listening,” says John Montanari, Music Director for New England Public Radio.
