Biography

Fran was thrilled to join the staff in August 1998 after many years of being a devoted listener. She is responsible for overseeing the finances and human resource activity for both WFCR and the WFCR Foundation, Inc. Prior to coming to WFCR, she worked at various small businesses and non-profits in the Pioneer Valley. Fran received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from UMass Amherst.

Fran serves on the board of Amherst Leisure Services Community Theater and lives in Amherst with her partner, Jerry Bryant. They have four children between them, all college graduates and successfully launched into the world. Gardening, walking, biking, and contra dancing keep her sane and she’s currently learning to play the baritone ukulele!
