Biography

Sandra is a media consultant in the underwriting department. With a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, she started out working for a contemporary art dealer before moving to corporate development at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park in Lincoln, Massachusetts. Looking for a change, she moved to the Pioneer Valley in 1996 and tried her hand as a baker (a lifelong desire) and barista at a few Northampton cafes. Back to the non-profits, she was a marketing representative for PBS affiliate WGBY and has been at WFCR for the last seven years. Her favorite NPR moment was when candidate Barack Obama played Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me during his campaign. She spends time fixing up her 1880’s row house and serving the whims of her dog and canary - Jefferson and Paco
